Beltane Bliss
She walks through the boughs of stars, blackthorn, haw and cherry
Laden too with the budding of breast and womb, her feet kiss the fallen five-pointed prayers
The spirit that lay with her amongst the bluebells had whispered of her glory and demise
And she knows that the crown will be his through the midsummer sun
With each step, her heart feels the expansion of the belly below- Lover, Father, Son all welted within
She held the torch through the darkest nights and now it burns within her skin
She sips the nectar from the honeybee’s lips and falls deeper in to the Dreams of Bel

Absolutely beautiful xxxx
